Hernon Manufacturing Receives ITAR Registration

Hernon Manufacturing, the innovator in adhesives, sealants and dispensing equipment, has announced that the company has received The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Registration. This registration enables Hernon to better serve government and ammunition manufacturers.

"We strive to be the dependable source for military-grade adhesives, sealants and dispensing equipment, that are custom engineered and proven to meet or exceed military requirements and reduce costs," says Harry Arnon, President of Hernon Manufacturing. "ITAR registration positions us to further demonstrate our commitment to and understanding of government market segments."

Registration does not confer any export rights or privileges, but is a precondition for the issuance of any license or other approval for export. The registration is valid for twelve months.

The companies new water-proofing technology for ammunition used by the military and law enforcement, as well as an advanced process of applying sealants to bullets was recently recognized and awarded the William C. Schwartz Innovation Award by the Central Florida economic-development officials.

The Benefits of Tribute Videos

Interesting in providing the best possible service to clients in your community?  Looking for a sure fire way to make funeral services unique and special?  Tribute videos will lead your funeral home to becoming the most respected and innovative around.

Tribute videos are becoming among the most requested products when client families are planning a funeral.  You have undoubtedly had client families express their desires to incorporate one within the viewing or memorial service.  If you are currently offering this service to your client base, you have seen the impact they make.  Transforming a quiet, sullen viewing service into one that includes many pictures, video clips and favorite music of the deceased, video tributes truly establish a tone like no other funeral product can.

As a funeral is intended to celebrate the life of a unique individual and allows one last event for friends and family to gather in that person’s honor, it is befitting to create an occasion that undeniably accomplishes that.  In the past, funeral home professionals encouraged client families to display photographs around the casket and on a photo or memorial board.   Realizing the effect that having personal objects at the service had on visitors, funeral home professionals have long known that the final “sending off” becomes a far more consequential event when the departed is present in some manner.  Video tributes are merely an extension of this, albeit using funeral industry designed software to create top-notch productions in-house.  The benefits to both the funeral home professional and client families are numerous.

Let’s look at client benefits.  The death of a loved one leaves a terrible void that is never replaced.  With time and shared mourning it heals and life without the deceased, although changed, continues.  When funerals are traditional and non-personal, visitors leave without any real connection to the departed.  When tribute videos are presented, however, the spirit of the person comes to life.  Photographs, video clips, favored psalms, poems or even jokes can be included.  Tons of tribute video introductions and video endings with themes that represent the deceased’s interests and passions bolster the personal touch.  Music is added from extensive libraries available on the software, or from the personal collection of the departed.  With professional effects in the software, a faithful and impressive video is the result.  Seeing their friend or loved one engaged in the milestones of life aids considerably to the grieving process and inspires sharing of stories among mourners.  Easily reproducible and uploaded to the internet, video tributes can be viewed and shared forever.

Funeral home professionals benefit significantly as well.   The software is astonishingly simple to use and DVD tribute videos are highly profitable.

Video tributes, created with ease and simplicity, add immeasurable value to your business.  Client satisfaction, word of mouth advertising and requests for extra copies combine to make it a staple product.  All this for an item you create in-house without the need to purchase additional equipment!

Frazer Consultants primary products and services include interactive funeral home website design, funeral tribute video software, funeral webcasting, funeral candles, funeral keepsakes, funeral register books, personalized funeral stationery, temporary grave markers and funeral holiday remembrance ornaments.  For more information, please visit http://www.frazerconsultants.com or call 866-372-9372.

Printing-on-Demand Is Affordable and CUSTOM

Did you know that pre-printed funeral stationery companies are insinuating that pre-printed stationery is cheaper than print-on-demand?  That's simply not true!

Print-on-demand funeralstationery keeps costs down, inventory issues down, and offers client families more personalization options than pre-printed funeral stationery.  It also enables the funeral professional to have what they need, when they need it.

Take for instance funeral register books.  Comparable to pre-printed funeral register books in printing price, print-on-demand registers can be created in-house by the funeral professional and customized to a client family's wishes.  No longer will a family have to settle for a plain, unimaginative funeral register book.

With more than 500 templates to choose from, print-on-demand funeral stationery that's created with the latest funeral software can interweave the occupation, interests, hobbies and more throughout the register.  These personal and custom images can be displayed in full-color printing on the pages of the register book next to family photos, favorite scripture or quotes.

These little touches make a big impression.  So much so that the entire collection of funeral stationery, including the funeral register book is not just a plain piece of paper, with generic printing, but an important part of a families collection of keepsakes from their loved ones life.  In fact, these unique keepsakes help tell a loved one's story and celebrate their life.

Additionally, when creating  unique funeralstationery with the latest funeral software, there's nothing to inventory and no high cost print or copy machine to buy or lease.  The funeral home can use their own printing equipment - a laser jet printer or take advantage of a low, fixed cost-per-page program and still create the most-professional, cost-effective and fully customized funeral stationery available.

The type of printing solution a funeral home should chose will depend on the number of calls the funeral home typically manages in a month's time.  If the funeral home handles more than one hundred calls a month, it probably makes sense to go towards the copier solution.  If the home takes less than one hundred calls, a printer solution is best.  Either solution, will have a duplex unit that will allow the funeral home to printer both sides automatically.  The copier has a higher monthly fixed cost, therefore, the funeral home would need to be doing some volume to make up for the higher fixed cost.  But since the cost per page is cheaper, it can pay for itself quickly.

This funeral software is available to funeral professionals with no long-term contracts, no upfront costs, no equipment to buy, and no support fees.  Using a simple pay as you go system, funeral homes can control costs and provide the highest level of customization available in today's market.

Frazer Consultants primary products and services include interactive funeral home website design, funeral tribute video software, funeral webcasting, funeral candles, funeral keepsakes, funeral register books, personalized funeral stationery, temporary grave markers and funeral holiday remembrance ornaments.  For more information, please visit http://www.frazerconsultants.com or call 866-372-9372.

Exceptional Funeral Stationery Packages For Less

Is it possible to provide incredible funeral stationery that is highly personalized while making great profit?  With new options stemming from simple funeral software, you can.

The National Funeral Directors Association estimates that client families pay $80 for one hundred basic funeral programs without a picture.  Guest register books also average $80, with more elaborate styles selling for as much as $225.  As these items tend to be the most essential to have for a funeral service, client families must struggle between the cost of generic funeral stationery and the desire to personalize their loved ones funeral.
As a funeral home professional, you are fortunate to be able to offer many additional items to the standard programs and register books for a very cost-effective rate.  And the beauty is that each and every item can be customized so the deceased's unique nature is revealed through each piece.

With funeral software designed specifically for the funeral home industry, you can easily create fully personalized funeral stationery for far less than you may think.  Consider being able to offer leather-bound register books containing a photograph of the deceased with your clients' choice of paper stock and the ability to personalize pages within the book.  Accompanying that, you add one hundred memorial folders and fifty acknowledgements and envelopes - all personalized. This "basic" type of package will run your client families about $145, which is a bargain when compared to the lack luster, higher priced register and one hundred black and white funeral programs of yesteryear.  In addition, you profit handsomely!

For just $345, client families can receive one hundred color programs containing a photo and an exceptional registry book -- all created on simple to use funeral software, in-house!  Imagine their amazement while planning a funeral and seeking input from your funeral home, when you offer them a completely personalized funeralstationery package at an affordable price.  This type of package includes:  a beautiful, personalized leather-bound register book, one hundred tri-fold programs, fifty acknowledgement cards with envelopes, four bookmarks and a professional level DVD tribute video and a four-sided funeral candle.  Keep in mind that each and every one of these items is customized with photographs, favorite quotes or bible verses of the deceased, and music and video where applicable.

With the economic hardships faced by so many these days, why not offer so much MORE for so much LESS?  Explore the vast options available to you with funeral software.  You will find your profits maximized and your client families very satisfied.

Frazer Consultants primary products and services include interactive funeral home website design, funeral tribute video software, funeral webcasting, funeral candles, funeral keepsakes, funeral register books, personalized funeral stationery, temporary grave markers and funeral holiday remembrance ornaments.  For more information, please visit http://www.frazerconsultants.com or call 866-372-9372.

Why Take Tap Dancing Lessons?

Tap is an invigorating form of dance in which dancers put on special shoes equipped with metal taps. With their feet, tap dancers create rhythmic patterns and timely beats. The term tap dancing is derived from the tapping sound produced when the small metal plates on the dancer's shoes touch a hard floor or surface.

If you or your child is interested in learning to tap dance, you may be wondering what to expect from your first tap class. A beginner's tap class will focus on learning basic tap steps. If you are fairly coordinated, you should be able to pick up the basics rather quickly. Most tap classes begin with a short warm-up to prepare the feet and ankles. You will probably be asked to perform a few stretches to loosen up your legs. For there, basic steps will be taught, and soon you'll be stringing these basic steps together into a whole routine.

Tap dancing is one of the best cardiovascular exercises you can get. In fact, one 45 minute tap dance lesson, twice a week is enough to improve your heart's health. When you tap dance, you are making very small steps at an increased speed. When doing so, your heart rate goes up and is worked a lot more than it might be use to. As you build endurance, you are building muscle and making your heart muscle stronger and stronger.

Tap dancing burns approximately 315 calories per hour. If your child takes part in a two-hour tap dance class, that is equal to burning about 630 calories. If they're enrolled in several tap dance classes for two-hours per class, five days per week, that's almost a full pound of calorie-burning activity.

Tap dancing is a great way for adults to work off extra pounds too. The quick movements you will experience while tap dancing are sure to make you work up a sweat. If regularly attended, you can burn up to 800 calories a week during your tap dancing lessons. When your body burns calories, you are burning fat.

Another benefit to tap dancing is that the dancer is participating in a high energy exercise which works the leg muscles and others throughout the body. As your heart rate goes up, your body requires more oxygen. With this extra oxygen intake, your muscles are able to get the work out they need in order to strengthen and tone. More muscle tone means less body fat.

Maintenance and Cleaning for Vinyl Composite Tile (VCT)

One of the best ways to keep your facility clean and presentable is have a professional commercial floor cleaning company bring your vinyl composite tile (VCT) flooring back to life.

VCT floors offer a unique air cushioning that insulates against cold and improves sound absorption in almost all commercial space. VCT flooring is ideal for heavy traffic and noisy areas in commercial office buildings, industrial warehouses, retail spaces, restaurant bars, educational institutions, and even churches. With proper restoration and regular VCT flooring maintenance, you can retain a more professional look for decades.
Sweeping and mopping will help prevent your VCT floor from scratching and staining - ensuring your VCT floor a long life. These two VCT maintenance tasks are the primary activities that you must perform on regular, or even on a daily basis. How often these tasks need to be completed depend on the amount of traffic and soil your facility accumulates.

Stripping and waxing as needed is also important to VCT maintenance. Removing the existing wax finish from your floor and applying the new one requires some knowledge of flooring chemicals and equipment. Often facility managers leave this task to professional VCT floor cleaning companies.

For stripping, floor buffers are used at low speed on the vinyl to take off the existing wax. This is a labor intensive job. For areas with high wax accumulation, stripping process may need to be repeated. After the finish is removed, the floor should be rinsed to remove any residue of old wax.

Using a mop, the new VCT finish is applied in coats. The floor should be dried completely between coats, adding as many coats you wish. Depending on the shine you hope to achieve and the finish you are using, generally, 4-5 coats will give you a medium shine.

After the last coat of wax dries, your floor is ready to walk on. But, you still need a high speed buffering to restore the shine of your floor. However, avoid doing any high speed buffing or polishing for at least two days after the last coat of wax is applied.

Nothing beats a good VCT waxing and VCT buffing. This type of regular maintenance will elongate the life of commercial and industrial floor surfaces.

No matter what size your burnishing, buffing and waxing project is, you need to have an excellent relationship with a VCT floor cleaning company that has experience with vinyl composite tile (VCT). Finding a trusted contractor to assist you with your floor care for your facility is easier than you may think. East Valley Arizona Carpet Cleaning Tips

Carpet cleaning is a service that nearly everyone needs. Not only do East Valley, Arizona home owners in residential neighborhoods need the service on a regular basis, commercial properties also must get their carpets cleaned once a year or more.

As a general rule, a carpet should be cleaned to a professional standard every 12 to 18-months, although in areas of heavy foot traffic or a heavy dog shedding, a carpet clean might be reduced to every 12-months. If you are in need of a professional carpet cleaner in the East Valley, you will want to find a reliable and trustworthy company.

Picking the right carpet cleaning company is not an easy thing for somebody who is not in the carpet cleaning industry. To an outsider, all of the companies look the same and it can be hard to separate the good ones from the bad ones. It is an important decision though because there definitely is a difference between companies.
Here are some tips that will prove useful to you while selecting the right carpet company:

1) Choose a local company - Carpet cleaners in the East Valley can normally provide a more prompt and proper service for their customers. But, perhaps the best thing about hiring a local carpet cleaning company is that they can provide fast, emergency service when others cannot.

2) Look for an insured company - Having a bond policy for the employees ensures that the employee will own up to any damage that occurs to the carpet. This will ensure proper care of your carpet and protects you from being a victim of carelessness.

3) Choose a carpet cleaning method - Ask your potential carpet cleaning company what method of carpet cleaning that they employ. Truck Mounted True Steam Extraction to deeply clean your carpet using real steam, not just hot water. It disinfects, kills germs & odors, revitalizes the carpet and cleans without soaking your carpet or using harsh chemicals.

4) How much will it cost? Another area that you must pay attention to is the pricing method used by your carpet cleaner. Make sure there are no hidden fees or surprise extra charges. Some companies guarantee their pricing while others prey on customers to rack up extra service fees.

5) Find out about the company's technical expertise - The company needs to be well versed in chemical cleaning products and be aware of toxic reactions and allergies that can arise from the use of certain solutions. Inexperienced carpet cleaners can ruin your carpet, and your health.

6) Length of time in the business - The longer a company is in the business the more trustworthy a business can be, so do your homework and find out for how long the company was in business.

7) Ask for references - Check the company's reputation through other people who have been their customers before. Any company which can readily provide you with this information is definitely a good company as they are sure that the customers will provide you with a good referral.

Dance Lessons Can Help Your Child Lose Weight

Dance lessons are a fun way of getting aerobic exercise on a regular basis. Dancing can do more than teach your child some cool moves; it can also help them lose weight and stay fit.

Many forms of dance can help your child with weight loss. Because dancing is an excellent form of exercise, not only does it raise the heart rate through movement, dancing also tones and tightens the major muscle groups of the body. Additionally, dancing can burn as many calories as walking, swimming or riding a bicycle. A half hour session of sustained dancing really can make a difference in weight loss; however, because most children won't think of it as exercise - they're more likely to keep at it longer.

One of the best things you can do to help your child to lose weight is to find an exercise that they actually enjoy doing. Most children, and most adults won’t stick to an exercise routine that they don't really like. If you or your child are serious about losing weight through dancing, be sure to choose the right type of dance. Some dance styles are much more strenuous than others. For example, a fast-paced jazz class will burn more calories than a slow and graceful lesson in ballet. Choose a dance class that gets you up and moving.

Dance styles such as tap, ballet, hip hop and jazz are common types of dance lessons taught to children. The main reason why is clear -- kids think it's fun. The diversity of different dance styles taught at dance studios in the East Valley varies greatly. When you choose a dance studio for your child's aerobic workout to help in their weight loss efforts, you are essentially opening the door to new found joy and an excellent way to burn calories.

Dancing works students whole body, while simultaneously giving them a full cardiovascular workout with every class. A lot of dancing revolves around timing movements to music which requires your child to carefully think and focus as well. It really becomes a hobby for many children, involving themselves in recitals and even dancing competitions. By focusing on dance as more than a means to fitness and weight loss, it really makes being fit for life more attainable and within your grasp. Taking dancing as far as your child's passion allows, realizing that it is a great tool in their weight loss efforts and staying fit for life as well.

Dance Lessons are Good for You

Dancing in general is an excellent way for people of all ages to either get in or stay in shape. In addition to it being a fun activity, dancing has several positive health benefits, such as:

Flexibility is an important part of maintaining good health. In order to dance, students must have a great amount of flexibility. Beginning with a warm-up and stretching exercises before the class begins help dances achieve full range of motion and reduce risk of injury. Because most forms of dance require dancers to perform moves that require stretching and bending, dancers usually become more flexible simply by dancing.

Dancing also builds strength by forcing the muscles to resist against a dancer's own body weight. Many styles of dance, including jazz and ballet, involve leaping and jumping which requires a great deal of leg muscle strength.

Dance is a very physical exercise and when done on a regular basis, it increases the dancers endurance. Elevating the heart rate can increase stamina. Just as in any form of exercise, regular dancing will build endurance.

Dancing is a very social activity. Having strong social ties and interacting with friends can contribute to a higher self-esteem and a positive outlook. Attending dance classes provides students with many opportunities to meet other people. Taking dance lessons can increase self-confidence and build social skills as well as reduce stress and tension.

Dance classes aren't just for kids either! East Valley, Arizona dance studios offer jazz, hip hop, and ballet classes for people of all ages Ballet is an awesome way to increase your flexibility, engages the hips, thighs, back, and abs, and ballet can often be done during pregnancy too! A quick-footed jazz and hip hop routine can burn about 300 calories an hour while working all of your major muscle groups. High-energy routines like the salsa, samba and cha-cha can be compared to an intense workout at the gym. Plus, because it's a weight-bearing activity, ballroom dancing builds bone density and works nearly all the muscles of the body and sharpens balance and coordination. The best part? You don't need any previous dance experience to get started immediately.

Dance Classes for Children

Many children begin dancing to music at a young age - making rhythmic movements, bouncing and clapping along to a song on the radio. As children, many young girls fantasize about becoming professional ballerinas. Young boys often lean towards hip hop and other expressive movements in dance.

Although most children enjoy dancing as a way to express themselves for fun, most won't become professional dancers. However, there's no need to push them into dancing if they're not interested or to damper their spirits if they do desire to be a professional dancer. To embrace their desire and ability to move to the music, enroll them in dance classes and see where their dreams take them.

If your child has serious ambitions of becoming a professional dancer, their training will become extremely rigorous, usually at around 12 years of age. Your child will be required to take classes five or six days per week, sometimes more than one class per day. Most professional dancers begin dancing full-time while their peers are finishing high school.

On the other hand, maybe your child would prefer to study ballet as a hobby, for the fun of it. One dance style, ballet, can be beneficial in many ways. Aside from giving a child an appreciation of music and dance, ballet also develops coordination and flexibility. It instills a certain amount of discipline, and provides children with friends of similar interests.

Many children want to mimic the famous dancers and styles they see on television shows such as 'Dancing With the Stars' and 'So You Think You Can Dance'. To be able to perform these intricate steps without making a fool of themselves is what most children (and adults!) strive for. In the East Valley, dance studios are teaching pupils how to master the art of dance at affordable prices. They offer a range of classes which enable students to choose from a wide variety of dance styles.

Selecting a local dance studio convenient to the Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, and Tempe Arizona area, is probably easier than you'd expect. Chances are you have friends with kids who are taking or have already taken dance classes, so start by asking them for referrals and suggestions. Go online and search for local dance studios and read up on the kids' dance lessons they offer.

East Valley dance studios also teach adult singles as well as adult couples. Classes are held throughout the day and evening catering for people of all walks of life. Whether you're interested in dance lessons for your child or for yourself, sign up today and start moving to the music once again!

A Company That Keeps Tile and Grout Clean

Grout and tile cleaning services in East Valley, Arizona are of great importance. Besides keeping the grouting sparkling and attractive, these companies help in keeping infections at bay by getting rid of the germs. Often homeowners and commercial facility maintenance managers try to use the do-it-yourself type cleaning products. Unfortunately, the cleaning abilities of these types of products don't hold a candle to professional tile and grout cleaning.

When choosing a type of flooring, homeowners and facility managers often prefer ceramic and porcelain tile over carpeting because tiles retain less soil than carpet. However, like any hard surface floor, there are also disadvantages to installing tile over carpet.

When first laid, tiled floors and surfaces always look great, however, over time it can get grubby. At this point, it can be difficult to find an over-the-counter cleaning solution that can produce the polished results you are aiming for. Perhaps at first, tile and grout cleaning solutions may work, but if you are aiming for that just-new look, you may want to consider hiring a professional cleaning service.

Because sanded grout is very porous, it can easily absorb soil particles even with regular mopping. The tiles themselves can also become discolored and build up a residual film. Regular mopping does help, but can also be counter-productive as the mop itself quickly becomes soiled. In this situation, a professional floor cleaning company can help restore the original appearance of your tile and grout.

Many people are familiar with the age old method of tile and grout cleaning involving hours of hard labor while on your hands and knees with a toothbrush, however this is no more. Tile and grout cleaning service companies are the answer to your prayers with affordable services which give outstanding results.

The proficient staff of A Mug You Can Trust is trained well to deal with tile and grout on floors, walls, counter tops as well as showers. They help clean, polish tile and stone of all types that include slate, granite, marble, travertine and many others. You just need to inform them what you have installed and they will get started cleaning it.

Providing high quality services with rich industry experience and cutting edge technology, A Mug You Can Trust is the leading tile and grout floor cleaning company in the East Valley Arizona area. The skilled technicians take care of your tile and grout and help restore it to an almost new state.

Additional Hernon Manufacturing Formulations Receive NSF Approval for Drinking Water

Hernon Manufacturing, the North American innovator in adhesives, sealants and dispensing equipment, recently received notification that six more products have received NSF approval for drinking water. These products were certified in addition to five Cylinlock formulations Hernon announced last week.

NSF International certifies products and writes standards for food, water and consumer goods. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, their ongoing public health commitment is to encourage everyone to live safer.

NSF International certified that the following products conform to the requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 61 - Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects:

Sealants:
Hernon® Porosity Sealant 990 (HPS 990) is the solution to leak proofing of parts. HPS offers improved machinability and surface quality for painting and plating. The hardened resins exhibit superior chemical resistance and elevated temperature stability. HPS 990 is an anaerobic-cure polymer impregnation resin. HPS 990 cures once it reaches the inner porosity of metal components. HPS 990 is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for use in commercial and residential potable water systems not exceeding 82°C (180°F). This product was certified for a maximum surface area to volume ration of 50 sq. in./L. It was also certified for brass materials having no greater than 12% porosity.

Thread Compounds:
Dripstop® 923 is specially formulated for use on tapered threads and provides a lower break-loose torque than Dripstop® 940. Tapered threads “cone” together, so Dripstop® 923 is formulated for easier dis-assembly. 923 delivers temperature integrity to 300°F continuous and intermittent exposures to 375°F are tolerated.

Hernon® Self Seeler 604 and Hernon® Self Seeler 618 are essentially the same with the exception of color. White is chosen for a “pipe sealant” look, and orange selected for an obvious indication of the presence of the special coating. The difference is strictly cosmetic. With the low viscosity grades, parts can be effectively tumbled with the Self Seeler as a simple means of coating the threads. Similarly, parts can be placed into plastic bags and shaken to apply the coating. Low viscosity types can be hand applied and brushed onto the thread path.

Hernon® Self Seeler 615 is a high viscosity, non-hardening, threaded pipe sealant. The preapplied application is suited for production environments. When Self Seeler 615 dries it becomes a resilient sealant for tapered or straight threads. Threaded components can be loosened and tightened up to eight (8) times without recoating.

Hernon® Self Seeler 616 is a high viscosity, non-hardening, threaded pipe sealant. The preapplied application is suited for production environments. When Self Seeler 616 dries it becomes a resilient sealant for tapered or straight threads. Threaded components can be loosened and tightened up to eight (8) times without recoating.

In a previous release, Hernon announced that the NSF confirmed that following adhesives conform to the requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 61 - Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects: Cylinlock 24232, Cylinlock 824, 843, 845,846. These products had also been evaluated for the use in Mechanical Plumbing Device applications. Certification does not include a primer.
