There are several different names for funeral programs. They may be referred to as a funeral bulletin, funeral memorial programs, funeral service programs or memorial service programs. For example, Ecclesiastics 3:1-8 or Canon Henry Scott Hollands’s “Death is Nothing At All”, or a personal favorite, Mary Elizabeth Frye’s “I Did Not Die”. If there is space inside the program, they can be included there; otherwise the back cover can be used.
Pallbearers – Typically, the back cover of the funeral service program is reserved for any messages from the family to other mourners, such as one that thanks them for their attendance. Additionally, the names of the pallbearers are usually listed there as well. Other options would be to include a short biography of the deceased.
