NSF International certifies products and writes standards for food, water and consumer goods. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, their ongoing public health commitment is to encourage everyone to live safer.
NSF International has certified that the products appearing on their listing conform to the requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 61 - Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects.
The following Hernon Manufacturing products that passed the NSF drinking water standard are as follows: Cylinlock 24232, Cylinlock 824, Cylinlock 843, Cylinlock 845, and Cylinlock 846.
Cylinlock Adhesives are high performance, single component, 100% active anaerobic retaining compound developed for bonding fitted cylindrical parts. Upon cure, Cylinlock forms a tough plastic bond that offers high strength, superior heat, and chemical resistance.
According to the NSF Certification, these products have also been evaluated for the use in Mechanical Plumbing Device applications. Certification does not include a primer.
