How Much Does it Cost to Take Dance Lessons in the East Valley?

Students looking to take dancelessons in the East Valley, Arizona area will discover that Wagner Dance and Music offers area residents access to top notch instructors, a state-of-the-art, 3,600- square foot dance studio and a large variety of exciting classes for ages two to adult.  With regular dance classes start at just $55 per month for one class per week, Wagner Dance and Music studio offers an affordable and exhilarating opportunity for students of all ages to learn how to dance.

Students who come to Wagner Dance and Music for dance lessons come from Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, and Tempe Arizona areas.  Because everyone's schedule is different ,the studio offers a wide range of class times.  Their regular class schedule includes many Saturday classes too.  Included on the current class schedule are the following types of dance classes:  Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Tumbling, Cheer, and Musical Theater.
The best part is, there's no need to sign a dance lesson contract with Wagner Dance and Music!  Tuition is paid on a month to month basis.  However, the studio does require a 30-day written notice for withdrawing from a class.

What about dancewear and shoes?
For proper dance education, it is important that all students dress in the appropriate attire for each specific class.  Ballet in particular involves very detailed body movements and placement.  Having all students dressed to a standard makes it possible for the instructor to more easily notice incorrect positions and movements to make the appropriate corrections before any bad habits are formed.  However, for your first class it is fine for you to just wear comfortable clothing and bare feet.  You can then purchase the proper dancewear and shoes for your specific class once you are enrolled.  For your convenience, the dance studio offer and in-studio boutique and carry all the required dancewear and shoes for all classes.   Prices vary depending on class type and accessories needed.

Are there additional costs to dance lessons?
In addition to the monthly danceclass fee, dancewear and shoes, each student is required to purchase a costume for the yearly "Broadway" style production held in June of each year.  All of the production costumes are in a conservative style, are age appropriate, and are professionally made, with all fittings and alterations included.  The costumes typically cost about $95, plus a $50 production fee for students six and up.  Dancers under the age of six are typically charged $75, plus the $50 production fee.  This additional fee helps to cover the cost of the venue, scenery, props, programs, and other various production costs.
